I guess you know, that 1 gram of fat contains 9 kcal. With a fast calculation we can easily find out that 1 kilogram of fat contains 9000 kcal. So, to remove this 1 kilogram of fat we need to make a deficit of these calories. Its actually easy to do ! For example, your body is burning 2000-3000 kcal a day just for staying alive. (of course the amount of calories depends on many factors like age, activity, weight and height) So, lets say that you start doing cardio 4-5 times a week and you’re also lifting weights 3-4 times a week, and of course you’re having some pretty strict nutrition, for 3-4 weeks you might succeed in dropping a kilogram of fat ! That's how simple it is !
And something more:
Do it slow ! 3-4 weeks are an acceptable period for dropping a kilogram of fat, but if you do it for 7-10 days it might lead to muscle loss and some health problems ! So have it in mind !
